Overview

Eczema Association of Australasia is the only organisation of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, and has been increasing awareness and providing support to eczema sufferers since 1994. Eczema Association of Australasia appointed Elevate to provide a full PR, Communication and Digital strategy to drive publicity in the lead up to Eczema Awareness Month in May 2017. The campaign achieved renowned widespread coverage, which focused on the eczema youth sufferers in Australia, and highlighted the support and assistance provided by the Eczema Association of Australasia. Eczema Association of Australasia’s PR, Communication and Digital campaign included:
 
• Developed a PR and Communication strategy to ensure all activities are aligned with EAA’s business goals and objectives
• Identified story opportunities and drafted media releases from national and local angles
• Liaised with local and national media contacts
• Reviewed and provided recommendations to increase engagement on existing social media platforms, website, and monthly and quarterly eNewsletters
• Coordinated interview and photo opportunities
• Identified potential opportunities to profile Eczema Association of Australasia to key stakeholders and associations at relevant events
• Created, scheduled and monitored social media content and engagement
