Overview & Key Outcomes

Eczema Association of Australasia Inc (EAA) is the only organisation of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, and has been increasing awareness and providing support to eczema sufferers since 1994. The EAA appointed Elevate to provide a full PR, Communication and Digital strategy to drive publicity in the lead up to Eczema Awareness Month in May 2017. Since then, Elevate and the EAA have worked together to conduct annual campaigns including Eczema Awareness Month/Week each May, as well as manage the Eczema Awareness Day campaign each September, since 2017.

Elevate’s work with the EAA includes:

  • Developing a PR and Communication strategy to ensure all activities are aligned with EAA’s business goals and objectives
  • Stakeholder/corporate membership management (including developing a corporate prospectus, liaising with new and current corporate partners, managing contract renewals, and ensuring entitlements are being met)
  • Media relations management (including developing media campaigns, liaising with the media, and organising interviews and media opportunities)
  • Digital/social media management (including developing content creation such as copy and imagery, monitoring online campaigns and organising webinars/live video sessions)
  • Advertising and paid partnership management (including liaising with advertising partners, compiling and comparing quotes, working with the ad partners regarding key specifications and measuring value/worth)
  • Supplier management (including gathering quotes, liaising and managing the development process and ensuring all content is correct. Example suppliers include working with like-minded professionals, printers, designers and videographers)
  • Event management (including compiling quotes, researching venues, liaising with the event partners, and onsite management)
  • Influencer/ambassador management (including liaising with current and new influencers, developing content for the talent, and seeking opportunities for support through social media or media campaigns)
